1. General Overview

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides professional balloon décor, event styling, and related services to individuals, businesses, and organizations. By booking our services or purchasing our products, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before signing or submitting payment.

2. Booking & Deposit

To reserve decorating services for your event, a signed contract is required. While there is no retainer fee to secure your event date, a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total service cost is due to cover the purchase of materials and rental items.

Your event date will not be considered confirmed until both the signed agreement and deposit are received. Failure to submit this payment may result in cancellation or delay of your event setup.

3. Materials & Rental Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total service amount is required after the contract is signed. This deposit ensures procurement of necessary materials and rental items. Failure to submit this payment may result in delays or cancellation of your event arrangements.

4. Final Payment

The remaining 50% balance is due on or before the day of the event. Once full payment is received, no refunds will be issued except in cases of inclement weather (see Section 11).

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More is not responsible for personal circumstances that may lead to cancellations or postponements. However, we will make every effort to accommodate date changes when possible.

A receipt will be provided upon request. Late payments may incur a service fee.

5. Arrival & Setup

Decorating staff will arrive on-site as specified by the client. We cannot be held responsible for delays or incomplete décor if less than 3.5 hours are allowed for setup, which is a reasonable and standard time frame for full décor installations.

Staff does not clean up after guests; we ask that all trash be removed to ensure a timely installment.

6. Disposal & Breakdown

Breakdown and haul-away services will be provided as part of this agreement. All embellishments and framework are the property of Jay Jay’s Balloons & More and will be collected during breakdown following the event.

7. Delivery, Setup & Access

• Delivery and setup fees vary depending on event location and scale. 
• The client must ensure safe, accessible, and weather-appropriate setup areas. 
• Additional fees may apply for after-hours, extended setups, or venue delays. 
• Once décor is installed and accepted, Jay Jay’s Balloons & More is not liable for damage, deflation, or movement caused by weather, heat, sharp objects, or guest interference.
   

8. Accident Clause

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More is not responsible for accidents or injuries related to our décor caused by mischief, mishandling, or improper supervision by the client, guests, or venue staff.

⚠️ Please do not allow guests to put latex balloons in their mouths.
⚠️ Be aware that some individuals may have latex allergies and should avoid contact with latex balloons.

9. Inclement Weather Clause

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More shall not be held responsible if weather conditions make it impossible to perform décor services as described in this agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, strong winds, rain, extreme heat, or snowstorms.

If inclement weather prevents installation of the agreed décor, a refund minus the deposit and cost of purchased supplies will be issued promptly. The client will also gain ownership of all purchased materials.

10. Outdoor Décor Clause

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More uses only the highest quality products and strives to ensure décor exceeds expectations. However, due to the natural properties of balloons, we cannot guarantee longevity or perfection when décor is used outdoors.

If weather conditions make outdoor installation difficult or impossible, we will work to provide décor alternatives. However, no refunds or discounts will be issued for loss, breakage, or early deflation caused by outdoor elements beyond our control.

11. Cancellations

PLEASE CAREFULLY CONSIDER THESE TERMS BEFORE COMMITTING.

In the event of a cancellation, Jay Jay’s Balloons & More retains the right to apply fees as follows:

• Within 24 hours of the event: 100% of the retainer (deposit) will be applied to cover costs of materials, operating expenses, and lost wages.

12. Balloon Longevity & Care

• Indoor balloon décor may last several days to weeks. 
• Outdoor installations are more susceptible to weather conditions and may not last as long. 
• Jay Jay’s Balloons & More does not guarantee balloon lifespan once installation is complete and accepted. 
• Latex balloons are biodegradable but should still be properly disposed of to protect wildlife and the environment.
   

13. Liability

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the use or handling of our décor once installed. The client is responsible for supervising children and guests near balloon structures and installations.

14. Photos & Media

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More reserves the right to photograph, or record completed installations for promotional purposes (social media, website, or print materials) unless otherwise requested in writing before the event.

15. Force Majeure

Jay Jay’s Balloons & More is not responsible for failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, power outages, natural disasters, or emergencies.

16. Acceptance of Proposal

The above prices, specifications, and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. Jay Jay’s Balloons & More is authorized to perform services as outlined. Payment will be made as agreed upon in the terms stated above.
